Terms of Service

1. Account Registration and Responsibility

To use Essyntia, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access
• Confirm that you meet the minimum age requirement
• Complete the verification challenge during registration

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, notify us immediately.

2. Acceptable Use

Essyntia is a platform for thoughtful, responsible expression. You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or obscene
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Spam, flood, or disrupt the platform or other users' experience
• Attempt to circumvent evaluations, artificially inflate your level, or manipulate Essence scores
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the platform without authorization
• Collect, harvest, or store other users' personal information
• Upload malicious code or content designed to interfere with the platform
• Attempt to access features beyond your authorized level
• Engage in coordinated inauthentic behavior, including operating multiple accounts
• Use the platform for commercial solicitation or advertising without authorization

3. The Essyntia System

Essyntia operates a progression and quality system that is central to the platform experience.

Evaluations and Levels

• Access to certain features (such as posting) is gated by evaluations that assess critical thinking and communication skills
• Your account level determines the features and capabilities available to you
• Evaluation results are final within each session; retakes are subject to cooldown periods
• We reserve the right to modify evaluation criteria, scoring, and thresholds at any time

Essence

• Essence scores (Clarity, Contribution, Judgment, Respect) reflect the quality of your participation
• Essence is calculated based on your posts, comments, reactions, and interactions
• Recent activity carries more weight than older activity
• Essence scores are visible to other users as part of your public profile
• We do not guarantee any specific Essence outcome based on specific actions

State

• Your State (Early, Progressing, Strong) reflects your overall progression
• State influences your standing and access within the platform
• State is determined by a combination of evaluations, Essence, and participation history

4. User-Generated Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and post on Essyntia. By posting content, you grant Essyntia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and present your content in connection with the operation of the platform.

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you post. Content must comply with these Terms, our community guidelines, and applicable law. You represent that you have all necessary rights to post the content you share.

Content Availability

Content you post may be visible to other registered users of the platform. Essyntia is not publicly browsable — access to content requires an authenticated account. Within the platform, your content may appear in feeds, groups, search results, and user profiles.

5. Moderation and Content Removal

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to:

• Review, monitor, or moderate any content posted on the platform
• Remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or community guidelines
• Issue warnings, restrict features, or suspend accounts for policy violations
• Take action against coordinated abuse, manipulation, or bad-faith participation

Moderation decisions are made at our discretion. We strive to apply our guidelines consistently and fairly, but we do not guarantee advance notice for every action.

6. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms or our community guidelines
• Your account is used for abuse, manipulation, or any unauthorized purpose
• We are required to do so by law
• We determine, at our discretion, that your participation is detrimental to the platform or its community

You may delete your own account at any time through the platform settings. Upon account termination:

• Your profile and personal information will be removed
• Your posted content may be retained in anonymized form where it forms part of public discussions
• Any licenses you granted to Essyntia will survive termination to the extent necessary to maintain platform integrity

7. Future Services and Monetization

Essyntia may introduce additional features and services in the future, including but not limited to:

• Premium subscriptions with enhanced features
• Advertising displayed within the platform
• Partnerships and integrations with third-party services

When these features are introduced, they will be governed by updated Terms or supplementary agreements. The introduction of monetization features will not retroactively alter the rights you have under these Terms regarding content you have already posted.

8. Intellectual Property

The Essyntia platform — including its design, name, logo, evaluation system, Essence framework, and underlying technology — is our intellectual property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary systems outside of your normal use of the platform.

9. Disclaimers

Essyntia is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that:

• The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Content posted by users is accurate, reliable, or appropriate
• Evaluation scores, Essence calculations, or State determinations will be free from error
• The platform will meet your specific expectations or requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Essyntia and its operators, affiliates, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of reputation, or loss of opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the platform.

Our total cumulative liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of El Salvador, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of El Salvador.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of Essyntia after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the platform and delete your account.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
